Gamescom is Europe’s biggest video game show and the largest business platform for the gaming industry. Gamescom 2023 will be held in Cologne, Germany from 23 August to 27 August 2023. There will then be five days of conference and exhibition programming at Koelnmesse, showcasing the latest games for gamers of all ages. You will have the opportunity to meet potential business partners and expand your professional and personal networks at Gamescom Cologne 2023.
What does Gamescom 2023 do to ensure minors have a positive and safe experience at the exhibition?
Visitors of all ages are guaranteed a safe and enjoyable Gamescom Cologne 2023 experience. Through USK (Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body), Gamescom ensures minors are protected on-site and digitally. All digital offerings of this show are in collaboration with USK Online. As in previous years, Gamescom members do not need wristbands to access the trade fair area. The event is open to children 12 years old and over without parental or guardian supervision. Some Gamescom games are reserved for 16–18-year-olds. You will receive a wristband according to your age group if you wish to participate in Gamescom’s games. With a wristband, visitors can access restricted areas at Gamescom Cologne.

Just like previous years, the fair trade area will be open every year. Gamescom members do not require wristbands. The event is open to children 12 years old and over without the supervision of a parent or guardian. This content is only for 16-18 year olds. Age groups also control it. You must show a valid photo ID to participate in Gamescom’s games. You will receive a wristband that corresponds to your age group. Visitors can then access restricted areas of Games show Cologne by wearing a wristband.
